Separate research from sending
Apollo, Clay, Hunter, and Lusha are useful to investigate for contact research. An outreach platform is a separate operating decision, even when one product offers both. Carry only accepted, appropriately usable records into a trial.
Compare the whole handoff
Inspect import or source controls, sequence steps, stop-on-reply, suppression, account access, a staffed inbox, and the exact CRM update. Check each feature in the current plan and settings; a product category does not establish identical behavior.
Keep the current process in the comparison
A manual sequence or existing CRM can be the better answer for a small or uncertain workload. Include review, inbox coverage, repair time, and unsubscribe handling in the cost of every option.
Choose a platform only when it improves a permitted, reviewable outreach process.
